So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh
"さあ、わたしは、あなたをパロにつかわして、

to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.
わたしの民、イスラエルの人々をエジプトから導き出させよう」。

But Moses said to God,"Who am I that
モーセは神様に言った、「わたしは、いったい何者でしょう。

I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?"
わたしがパロのところへ行って、
イスラエルの人々をエジプトから導き出すのでしょうか」。

And God said, "I will be with you."
神様は言われた、「わたしは必ずあなたと共にいる。」

But Moses pleaded with the LORD
しかし、モーセはなおも食い下がった。

"O Lord, I’m not very good with words.　
「神様、私はとても口べたです。
  
I never have been, and I’m not now
うまく話ができたためしがありません。　

even though you have spoken to me.
こうしてお話ししていても、

I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.”
思うように物が言えません。すぐどもってしまうのです。」

Then the LORD asked Moses “Who makes a person’s mouth?
「人間の口を造るのはだれかね。

Who decides whether people speak or do not speak
人が話せたり話せなかったり、

hear or do not hear, see or do not see?
目が見えたり見えなかったり、耳が聞こえたり聞こえなかったりするのは、

Is it not I, the LORD?
だれの力によることだ？神であるわたしではないか。

Now go! I will be with you as you speak
それゆえ行きなさい。わたしはあなたの口と共にあって、

and I will instruct you in what to say.”
