After their defeat, Ben-hadad’s officers said to him,
スリヤの王の家来たちは王に言った

Gli dèi d'Israele sono dèi di montagna;
“The Israelite gods are gods of the hills;
「彼らの神々は山の神ですから

per questo ci hanno vinti;
that is why they won.
彼らがわれわれよりも強かったのです。

ma diamo la battaglia in pianura e li vinceremo di certo.
But we can beat them easily on the plains.
もしわれわれが平地で戦うならば、必ず彼らよりも強いでしょう。
