My dream came true!
I went up a hill to watch the sunrise this morning.
I've been wanting to see a red round sun coming out of the horizen for a long time, but without success.
At last, I was able to watch it on New Year's Day in 2014!
Thanks, the sun. I was in raptures!

Telling the truth, hair accessoreis on shops are too expensive!
I watched and watched them at a lot of shops, and I found they were not too difficult to make.
I could gathere all materials for accessories at a 100 coin shop.
Can you believe that a small flower accessori is more than 8000 yen?
My daughter wanted to use some of them!

I made a big ribbon with some beads ornamental hair pin, some hair pins with a flower.

Like you, I stayed home all day yesterday with all my family members.
I replied to all the email messages, playing piano, reading a book.....I was happy as I didn't need to cook at all!

I'm glad to hear your long-cherished dream has come true at last, thanks to the quiet and balmy weather to mark the first date of the new year's calendar.
Personally, I stayed at home all day long, making replies to new year's cards I've missed writing, watching a TV program featuring the Showa era, playing the classical guitar, enjoying dinner with our son and daughter's spouse.
The first day of the new year was really a peaceful day for me.
