Wonderful messages

日記

I got a long email from my ex-piano coach in America.
I was really touched by her messages which brought tears in my eyes.
I'm determined again to hone my piano skills more to provide people with beautiful music!

My ex-piano coach, Liz, is actually the one who ORDERED me to have a recital.
I promised her that I would hold my concert each year after returning to Japan.
So her email was really an encourage one. :-)

You seem to be really sociable and outgoing, and must be a really good teacher!
I can tell it from what you wrote.
You are a good listener and you always give me happy comments.
You are also a great speaker; I like your funny bits in your messages. :-)

You are both a good student and a good friend for your ex-piano coach, otherwise she doesn't write ex-student a touchable mail.
The news you hold a piano recital is the biggest present for her, I think.
Your resolution for this year !

Thanks much for your insightful message, arie!
As you said, she was my great mentor rather than a piano coach.
She changed my life completely; I'd never dreamed of performing in front of audiences!
I'm happy that my other mentor got back to my life. :-)

Are you going to Izu, arie?
I went to see my mom with my younger son today!

    Hi, Carrie!

You're really lucky to be blessed with a marvelous encounter with your mentor, which makes a huge difference in the way you give piano performances and nurture your philosophy of life.
I believe the more respectable people we meet in the course of life, the more profound and meaningful our life will become.
Enjoy the felicitous new year's days.
    See you later.
