２０１４年はかなり長い年そう。私に多くのことは起こったから。いそがしい年なんて・・・。
2014 has seemed to be such a long year. A lot of things happened to me. A busy year...
今年には、新しい家を住んで新しい学校へ行って新しいものを学んだ。家族と友達に内緒を明らかにした。自分についてのことを学んで他の人についてのことを学んだ。そして、新しい友達をできた。
This year I started living in a new house, started going to a new school, and learned new things. I disclosed a secret to my friends and family. I learned new things about myself and learned new things about other people. And, I made new friends.

In Japan, I talked about there being a custom to eat a cake on Christmas, don't you. It is the food of New Year this time. The food which is indispensable for the New Year is a rice cake. A rice cake has various how to eat, but I usually put it in a soy sauce soup and eat. We call it "zoni". In addition, the food to prepare in my house is herring roe and a vinegared octopus. A Japanese loves this creature who has eight feet and grotesque. See ya!

Hello, Ana chan!
After all, the most popular movie of this year in Japan was "Frozen(Ana and Snow Queen)". The second movie was "stand by me Doraemon".
By the way, The animated cartoon which I was interested in a little this year was "Mushishi" .
I was interested about this animated cartoon in beauty and the occultness of the picture. You may be able to watch it with rental DVD in USA. But I think that it is slightly difficult to your sister.
