ついに春が来た？！今までは、温度は０度未満。
Finally, it feels like spring! Until now, the temperature's been below zero.

アメリカは「夏時間」がある。言い換えると、春で、アメリカン人は時計を１時間進める。秋に１時間戻す。そうすると日照り時間が長くなる。
America has "daylight saving(s) time". In other words, Americans set their clocks forward one hour in the spring. In the fall, we set them back one hour. This way, the sunshine lasts longer in the day.

たくさんのアメリカ人は夏時間が好きじゃない。時間変化ので、朝は暗い。暗闇で学校へ歩くこと必要がある！暗闇は疲れる。そして、睡眠の１時間を無くす！
Many Americans don't like daylight saving time. Because of the time change, it's dark in the morning. I have to walk to school in the dark! The dark is tiring. And, we lose an hour of sleep!

眠りたいなぁ～。
I wanna sleep~.

    Your place is colder than Japan when I compare temperature at latitude.

    Sendai is to approximately 40 degrees N in a city of Japan. It is about the same with Chicago. But the highest temperature exceeds 10 degrees now. My place is located the south a little more. The flower of your rose has begun to already send out buds.

    There is a summer time, isn't there?
    It is interesting to express with "daylite saving time" not to express with "a summer time".
    I understand a meaning of the daylight saving time well.
    But I feel slightly sorry for going to the school while it's dark.

    Oh, which part of America do you live, Ana?
    I used to live in N.J. and the temperature there was below zero in winter time.
    Anyway, it's good to hear spring is just around the corner~! You has to walk to school in the dark, though.

    秋で１時間へ戻る→秋に１時間戻す
    そのように日光が長持ちする→そうすると日照り時間が長くなる(tough Japanese!!)
