ハロー!アナだよ。私のブログへようこそ!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is coming!
From the 24th until the 30th,
There is no school.
My family
Will eat a feast.
We'll eat things like turkey,
Mashed potatoes,
Cranberry sauce,
And stuffing.
Just thinking about it
I'm already full! Lol.

The reason why we celebrate Thanksgiving
Is to give thanks for the good things we have.
For example,
I'm thankful for my family,
Friends,
The food,
The house,
And for Japanese studies. ^^
We sit together with the people we care about
And eat the feast.
Itadakimasu!

Before the break,
At school,
Kids might give thanks.
"I'm thankful for TV!"
Or something like that. Lol.
What about you?
What are you thankful for?

It's travel loving and I'm contributing the outside blog irregularly. A picture is the one from smart phone and I think it's indistinct, but every time I travel, I'm taking a picture of the landscape done centering on Hokkaido and Nagano-ken. Happily I think you can feel beauty of the Japanese four seasons from there.

Activity at Nico town is not completely satisfactory, but support to Mr. non-accounting person is being done mainly, so please take care.

Well, both sentences are correct actually.
If you say アイスを, it's just general.
But if you say アイスが, it sounds more specific; you want ice cream but not other things.
I guess we usually use "が” in the sentence like this, as it contains "食べたい”.
    I hope it'll explain.^^

A third grader of the high school in Japan is busy now. That is because the examination for entrance into university begins in January. Japanese high school doesn't have a lot of homework, but Japan tend to decide all in an examination.

    Hello Ana chan!
If I have an opportunity, I want to eat a turkey.

By the way, when we count an animal in Japan we count the bird, with 1wa(1羽), 2wa・・. The big animals such as cow & pigs are 1 tou(頭), 2 tou ・・. Smaller animals such as mice are 1piki(1匹), 2hiki, 3biki, 4hiki, 5hiki・・.

But there is an exception. It is a rabbit. We count the rabbit, with 1wa, 2wa・・.
The reason did not eat a animal of four legs until around 200 years ago at Japan . But we knew the taste of the rabbit.

Therefore we made an exception and ate. The reason was the rabbit can hop such as a bird.
    See ya!

    I'm thankful for my life~!^^

Your blog article remindes me of the Thanksgiving day I enjoyed in the U.S.!
Our next door neighbor invited us each year and shared the feast(ごちそう).^^
Oh, I loved turkey, the gravy sauce, potatos, and the apple pie so much!
I wish I could eat the feast this year again~.

    Enjoy~~~^^
