アナのこと~夢で日本に行くよ~

*アナ*

ハロー!アナだよ。私のブログへようこそ!

This Semester

Winter break has ended. I went back to school on Tuesday.

American Legal Systems:
The teacher said that it would be a very difficult class. I'm a bit worried! But I think I'll be okay. Fight!

Biology:
I forgot my homework today, but the teacher didn't mind? He said, "Oh no!" but didn't punish me, so...

Spanish:
It's getting easier. But the pronunciation is still hard. Japanese is cute but Spanish is so boring...

Advanced Geometry:
My classmates are very quiet. Last year, the geometry students were loud, so the teacher was always yelling. "Hey, you're being loud! Why are you so loud!?"

Written Communication:
I'm writing an essay. It's about Yoshi-san. ^^

Health:
I had to introduce myself in front of the class. It was embarrassing!

I hope it'll be a good year.

    Hi! Ana chan!
It's cold today after all this time. A snowy forecast is given tonight in Tokyo. The night temperature here is around 0 degrees. I will not drive the car tomorrow if it snows! Let's take it easy!
    See ya!

Haha..Likewise, if I got a phone call from my friends, we're likely to talk a couple of hours.(not several hours!)
Maybe it's a worldwide tendency for women above 40 to have a loooong talk on the phone. Lol

    Hi!Ana chan!
My car will come to the house tomorrow. The present car's driving distance exceeded 300000 kilometers. The Japanese car is high-performance. It is a car of Subaru made in Japan this time. Though it is used car, I love it.
Then,in Japan cars must keep to the left side of the street and pedestrians to the right.
By the way, was your driver's license issued to you?
    See ya!

I see. That's the same as most of the Japanese.
I thought you American would use phones more for talking than texting.^^

Don't you have retort pouch spagetti sauce in the U.S.?
Maybe yours are in the cans!^^

Oh, I looked up "レトルト(食品)” in my Japanese-English dictionary, and it says "retort".
I meant to say the sauce is "retort pouch". Does that make sense?

My son always cooks spagetti by himself, the sause is retort.
So he sets a timer and enjoys his smartphone to his heart's content! >_<

Talking of a smartphone, I've come to notice that my son uses it 24-7. O.o
He is with it all the time, walking outside, having meals, even cooking and using a computer!
Oh, he's really addicted to it.
This is called 灯台もと暗し (todai moto kurashi); you can't notice stuff if it's too close.
Anyway, I should talk about it with him.<3

Your usage of it is really moderate and understandable, eight hours on weekend sounds a bit too much for me, though.
I don't have a smartphone nor cellphone, and I only use my computer for googling and texting.
I spend two hours a day the max and an hour for Nicotto.^^
Maybe I spend time in this town too much! Lol

    Hi! Ana chan!
The New Year in Japan is very busy with an event. "DONDO YAKI" is performed tomorrow on a farm nearby. We burn lucky charm, and decorations for New Year, in there. "DONDO YAKI" is a ceremony to send back it to God by burning a decoration. We must do the New Year's party too. In addition tomorrow is the coming-of-age ceremony. Therefore, tomorrow will be a holiday in Japan. It's "Happy-Monday"!
    See ya!

Oops! Maybe I should have written "We treat language like a human-being"
as I thought the words like "cute" and "cool" normally discribe people's character~.

I see. So both of the high school students in the U.S. and Japan are busy manipulating the gadgets! Lol

By the way, I read a newspaper artical saying that Japanese high school students use their smart-phones
average of 5.5 hours a day. I was astonished to read it!
One tenth of them use the gadets more than 15 hours a day. That's unbelievable.
How about you and other students in the U.S.?

Whoa! You don't get a grade if you forget your homework! That's hard.@@

I've never thought Japanese is cute. That's really interesting!
I've never heard of people saying that some language is cute or not cute in Japanese.
The way of saying sounds so cute!
Oh, that reminds me. I know many Japanese think English is cool.
We also treat language like a character! Lol^^

The words to gift you at the beginning of this year.

"Just trust yourself, then you will know how to live."

You seem to be doing okay in those classes.^^
Oh, what kind of panishment do you usually get when forgetting your homework?
Japanese is cute?! スペイン語は可愛くない sounds sooooo cute!^^
