雅、最後によく眠れたの？＾＾頑張りすぎないでね！ｗ

Dear host family,

 

Hello. I am Miyabi. I am a high school student. I live in the North-Eastern part of Japan.

Thank you very much for opening your home to Japanese students including me. I am really glad to be able to do a homestay in Germany! This is my first visit to Germany.

 

First, I will introduce myself.

 

My favorite subjects are World History, English, and Music.

I belong to the Kyudo (Japanese Archery) club. Kyudo is a very cool traditional martial art.

My school starts at 8:00 and finishes at 16:00. After school, I practice Kyudo for 2-3 hours.

So I usually get home at around 20:00.

 

On weekends, I practice Kyudo in the forenoon. Then, I have lunch with my friends.

After that, I sometimes hang out with them or go back home and study, watch TV, surf the net, and so on.

 

I have many hobbies, but my primary hobby is singing. It would be great if we could sing some songs together!

 

I am interested in the languages and cultures of each country in the world.

After graduating from high school, I’d like to study these, especially German.

In the future, I’d like to be a person who connects between Japan and the rest of the world, like a language teacher or worker at an embassy.

 

There are four people and a bird in my family.

My father, my mother, myself, my younger brother, and a budgerigar.

During vacation, we often go camping, go to sea, invite some friends to our house, or go skiing and skating. We like hanging out.

And we value each other and our time together.

 

Next, I will tell you about this Germany staying program.

The reason to join this program is that I’d like to know about language, lifestyle and culture, and the social system of Germany.

I have a German friend. She occasionally comes to Japan and stays for a few weeks.

Hearing about Germany from her, I got attracted to Germany. 

During my stay, I’d like to listen to the native pronunciation and to improve my English and German skills. I’d like to talk with many people and make many friends, so I will try hard to communicate with people.

Then, I’d like to stroll around and to go to many places in Germany. Through doing something (like seeing, talking, or eating), I’d like to enjoy my homestay with you.
