It's homecoming!

Homecoming is a week to celebrate school spirit.

Every day if you wear that day's outfit, you can get spirit points!

Monday: Olympic Outfits
Tuesday: Tourist Outfits
Wednesday: Hippie Outfits
Thursday: Sea Outfits
Friday: School Colors (Navy and Gold)

There are more events, too. For example, tomorrow after school we're having a parade. I'm looking forward to it! If you go to the parade, you can get more points. You can get more points at the other events too. ^^

The freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors each have their own team.

On Friday, whichever team has the most points wins!

Because the winning team gets the spirit stick, everyone is really working hard! ^^

And every year after homecoming, we make a cool video! This is 2012's video:

At the end of the video (in the gym) is the pep rally.

On Saturday, there is a homecoming dance. I'm not going because I can't find a dress to wear, but it does seem fun.

    Hi my pretty friend Ana,

Did you enjoy this year's homecoming?

I remember watching your school's dance video a few years ago. Do you remember that?

Now I am watching your high school's promotion video you mentioned above.

Their performance is fresh and cool!

It seems to be the promotion video of Katy Perry's FireWork in real high school version.lol

Japanese school usually hold the cultural festival called 文化祭 in autumn.

Your writing was perfectly all right.^^ It was just funny that you said 腕を折る as we Japanese wouldn't choose the verb 折る in this situation. It's kinda extreme to say that; it made your sentence so funny.
It also sounds funny that you said 予感がする instead of 気がする. 気がする would be a very ordinary choice in this sentence. I love your choice of Japanese words very much! ^^

    Hello,

I used to hate making a speech for the same reason, so I can tell how you feel!
Actually, I'm now finally okay speaking in front of others, like at my concerts. Maybe because I can talk whatever I want to deliver.

Speaking of tests, I couldn't memorise what I wasn't interested in either.
If you talk about and memorise Japanese stuff, it must be much easier!^^

Glad to hear you enjoyed the parade~^^

We spoke English, as Emily couldn't speak Japanese at all. Though she tries to memorise some Japanese words.^^
History was my worst subject too~ Lol

Whoa! It's an amazing video! There's a surprise in the middle when people starts dancing all of a sudden.^^ They all look so excited; it must be fun!!
I looked up the words "pep rally" and it said "壮行会" which people encourage others.

I enjoyed visiting some famous spots like Hakone shrine, Amazake eatery from edo era. And bathing a lot like twice a day!^^ Emily came to Japan last March too when we just walked around Tokyo area. It was fun to be with her at the tourist spots. I tried to explain to her about Japanese history and edo era, but I couldn't really as I was a very bad student when young. I'm so encouraged to learn those stuff this time! Lol
I would be a better guide when you visit Japan!^^
