メリー・クリスマス・トゥー・マイ・フレンド！＾＾
ニコッとタウンからの友達にメリークリスマス！＾＾
今日は、アメリカはクリスマスイブで、日本はクリスマス！
アメリカのクリスマスで、ハムとかを食べて、プレゼントを受け取って、家族と一緒に一日を過ごすんだよ。それに、キリスト教徒なら教会に行く。
私の家族は無宗教だから、教会に行かない。そして父はなぜかクリスマスが嫌いだから、私たちはクリスマスパーティーなんかに行かない。家にいて、プレゼントを開いて、美味しいごちそうを食べる。
私はクリスマスのプレゼントを求めなかった。貪欲な人になりたくないから。日本語教室はとても高いので、両親はもうたくさんのお金をかけたことあるよ。
皆さん、メリークリスマス！楽しい一日を過ごしてね！

Today it's Christmas Eve in America and Christmas in Japan!
On an American Christmas, we eat things like ham, open presents, and spend the day with our family. And if you're Christian you go to church.
My family isn't religious, so we don't go to church. And my dad hates Christmas for some reason, so we don't go to things like Christmas parties. We stay home, open presents, and eat a feast.
I didn't ask for anything for Christmas. I don't like to feel greedy. The Japanese Classroom is very expensive, so my parents have already spent lots of money on me.

スマホも携帯も出てきたのは最近だから、私の生活は以前と全く変わってないだけ。簡単に生きていけるよ（笑）アナは物心ついた時から携帯・スマホがあって、もう自分の一部なんだろうね。

So many non-Christains also celebrate Christmas!
Well, I'm very unconventional as a Japanese. Many of us like to "follow the crowd" but I don't!
I prefer doing something different than others. We call it "へそまがり" ^^
And I don't like things which are so commercialized. We never celebrated Halloween ten years ago; now many of us wear costumes on that day.
I thought not all of us need to eat chicken for Christmas, and my family agreed with me.^^
How nice you have friends from all over the world! How do you chat with them? Via Skype?

We used to celebrate Christmas, but as we lived in the U.S., I changed my mind.
Non-Christian didn't celebrate Xmas! So I thought we didn't need to celebrate it either. Lol
However, when our kids were little, we put a tree and decorated it to welcome Santa Claus.
It's so funny to imagine Thomas and your conversation in Japanese; こんにちは and お元気ですか.^^
Hope he'll memorise lots of other expressions to keep talking with you!

冬休みが火曜日から...ってことは、もう冬休みにはいったんだね。そっちの冬休みはどう？？
ただでさえ聞き取りって大変なのに、方言になったらもっと大変だよね。日本人でもわかんないかもｗ
ちなみに雅の住んでるところもまぁまぁ訛ってるから関東方面に行くときは訛らないように気を付けてるｗ
Speaking about the club activity, we usually practice for 2 hours and shoot 16 - 20 arrows.
but during winter break, we practice for 4.5 hours and shoot 36 - 40 arrows!
I felt it was too much work at first. but actually, I got to used to go it :-)

Yup! It's Christmas in Japan. But our family don't celebrate Christmas, as we are not religious either.
I don't feel like having parties on Christmas, Halloween.... the custom which is not related to us. I'm kind of odd; a resistant Japanese. Lol
We enjoyed the chocolate cake which my son brought us home from his place of part-time job, though.^^
It's great of you that you didn't ask for anything for Xmas for the sake of your parents~^^

日本人は、ほとんどの人が無宗教だから、ハロウィーンやってみたり、クリスマスやってみたと思えば、お寺に初詣に行ったりww
