To my distress I learned during the next weeks that it was
true : you can't play in the most beautiful garden if you
have always to take care of sailor suits and nice shoes on
week-days, silken dresses and white socks on Sundays. You
couldn't expect a white sailor blouse to look the same after
you had climbed that spruce over there in the corner.
